Join us February 28th, for a thought-provoking evening as The World Affairs Council of Kentucky and Southern Indiana presents "The Cost of Inheritance." This documentary promises to reshape the reparations debate in the U.S.

Dr. John Miller: Originally from Moncks Corner, S.C., Dr. Miller is a professional social worker and college professor. Miller currently serves as the Dean of the Kent School of Social Work & Family Science. He is also a community organizer, scholar, and consultant. Miller has received notable recognition for his work. In 2017, he was selected as the Arkansas Social Worker of the Year by the Arkansas Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (AR-NASW).


Randy Quaterman: Randy Quarterman is a retired Army veteran and a descendant of Zieke Quarterman who was enslaved by George A. Keller in Savannah, Ga. He Co-Founded the Quarterman & Keller Foundation, the first initiative was The Reparations Project to support Black Education and legal land redress for Black families and to amplify truth-telling for Black voices. 


Kaitlyn Tisdale: A Louisville, Kentucky native, Kaitlyn is the Director of Interpretation at Historic Locust Grove. Kaitlyn has held positions at a variety of historic sites in Kentucky and Indiana including, Historic Locust Grove, the Culbertson Mansion, Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate, and Mammoth Cave National Park. Most recently, she was named a fellow and virtual facilitator in the Smithsonian Institution’s Ethical Interpretation program with the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
